This is our Vegetarian Winter Selection Cheeseboard, lovingly put together with all our best loved vegetarian cheeses! There are two variations to choose from depending on your party size:
1-2 people includes approximately 100g of each cheese described. This option contains a Red Onion Relish ONLY.
2-3 people includes approximately 150g of each cheese described. This option contains a Red Onion Relish, and a other chutney especially chosen by our deli chefs from Northumberland Pantry.
Hawes Wensleydale - Cow's Milk (P) (V)
This recipe harks back to more traditional Wensleydale-making methods. Its texture is less crumbly and its flavour more buttery than many examples of Wensleydale more widely available today.
Devon Blue - Cow's Milk (P) (V)
A sweet and mellow blue cheese from Devon, with a caramelly – and occasionally lightly spicy – flavour profile and a pleasingly dense, fudgy texture that even blue cheese sceptics are likely to love.
Ticklemore - Goats Milk (P) (V)
Ticklemore Goat is a subtle, mild and fresh tasting goats cheese without an often associated strong aroma. It is a moist, yet crumbly texture, allowing a full, floral, herby and zesty palette with a subtle lemony taste.
Northumberland Pantry Red Onion Relish - Made by David and team in Northumberland
Inspired by the Northumberland garden favourite, this Red Onion Relish has a sweet well rounded flavour with a hint of chilli to give a subtle warmth.
