Events at Blacks Corner
Our allocated event time slots for events are:
Monday - Anytime
Tuesday - 18:00-22:00
Wednesday - 14:00-17:00
Thursday - 14:00-17:00
Friday - 14:00-17:00
Saturday - 14:00-17:00
Sunday - 14:00-17:00
Sunday - 17:00-20:00
We have a minimum spend amount, which is quoted dependant on the day and time that you choose. This allows you to reserve the full restaurant area (not including bar*) and is to cover food for the event and room hire.
All drinks packages and individual drinks are purchased in addition to this.
Please note that this is a minimum spend amount which is required to allocate your booking. Your final quote will be dependent on the number of guests and the package that you choose
We don't have drinks packages as such, but can arrange Prosecco/Champagne on arrival, or a selection of none alcoholic cocktails/punch style cocktails if that is something you would be interested in.
We like to make each event bespoke and so if you choose to go ahead with your booking we can discuss our selection of food packages, drinks, decorations etc and put together a quote based on what you decide.
The full balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your event – however, we would require an initial payment of £100 to secure the booking. This initial payment becomes non-refundable if you cancel within the 14 days prior to your booking.
The number of people this space can accommodate is 30-35 maximum with standing, or 25 seated.
We have a few options available in terms of food, which are quoted on a price per head basis:-
• We can do a Blacks Corner Grazing Table which is our most popular choice for events. This would be displayed along the central high table, decorated with foliage and would include things such as:-
A selection of Cheeses and Charcuterie
Beetroot Humous, Mushroom Pate
A selection of crackers, oatcakes and fresh breads
A selection condiments including our homemade chutney and local honey
A selection of fresh fruits, berries, hot peppers, gherkins, stuffed pepper dews
• An alternative option is a Menu Selection Table which would again be displayed across the central high table and would include things such as:-
A selection of Flatbreads, Small Plates and Crostini’s
A selection of Cheese and Charcuterie boards etc which would be displayed on our wooden boards
• And finally we offer an Afternoon Tea option, which is our most popular choice for Baby Showers and is also displayed across the central high table and would include things such as:-
A selection of Deli Sandwiches
A selection of cakes, biscuits and sweet treats
Our fruit scones with Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream
A selection of fresh fruits & berries
There is also an option to add hand rolled, flavoured doughnuts to the table if that is something you would be interested in.
All menu options above are completely customisable so if you decide to go ahead, we can discuss any particular requirements or products that you would like to include.
